Job Summary

Dark Wolf Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to provide support to the US Government in ensuring industrial information systems comply with current regulations and governing policies. The ideal candidate will have expertise in assessing and accrediting (A&A) information systems, as well as experience with industrial security policy guidance and the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct on-site inspections of information systems at contractor sites nationwide to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Assist with A&A processes, utilizing expertise in ICD 503, ICD 705, and SEAD 4, as well as the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Develop and maintain System Security Plans (SSPs) and security policies, ensuring alignment with industrial security regulations.
  • Provide technical guidance to system administrators on cybersecurity best practices and procedures.
  • Travel domestically (20% to 40% of the time) to conduct site visits and assessments.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience with A&A processes, ICD 503, and NIST RMF.
  • 2+ years of experience writing technical reports related to A&A, SSPs, security policies, and guidance.
  • 2+ years of demonstrated knowledge and technical skills in network architecture, LAN configuration, and securing operating systems.
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, Microsoft Office Suite, Apple/MAC OS, Unix/Linux systems, and virtualization software.
  • Experience using vulnerability and compliance assessment tools such as Nessus, SCAP, or App Detective.
  • At least one (1) of the following cybersecurity certifications: Security+ CE, SSCP, CAP, CISM, CASP, CISSP, GSEC, GICSP, GSLC, CEH, CDNA, CSSLP.
  • Ability to communicate technical subjects using clear, concise, non-technical language, including strong written communications and ability to provide written feedback on documents.
  • Ability to travel domestically (20% to 40% of the time).
  • HS Diploma.
  • US Citizenship and an active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Two (2) or more of the following certifications: Security+ CE, SSCP, CAP, CISM, CASP, CISSP, GSEC, GICSP, GSLC, CEH, CDNA, CSSLP.
  • Demonstrated experience giving technical guidance to system administrators.
  • Three (3) or more years of experience with the IC Community's/Sponsor's A&A process, ICD 503, and NIST Risk Management.
  • Any additional certifications relevant to system and cyber security not previously listed.
