Key Responsibilities:- Assist the surgical team in providing a safe and culturally aware patient care environment
- Pass instruments and sterile supplies to surgeons during surgery
- Prepare the operating room with necessary supplies and equipment
- Properly sterilize instruments and supplies
- Serve as a surgical assistant as needed
- Assist in ordering and restocking operating room supplies and instruments
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Graduate of an accredited surgical technician program
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
- 1 year of hospital operating room experience preferred
- 1-3 years of cardiac surgical scrub tech experience in a hospital preferred
