Job Summary:
As a skilled Interventional Radiology Technician at Della Infotech, you will play a vital role in assisting radiologists during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Your expertise in operating specialized imaging equipment, such as fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound, will ensure optimal performance and image quality.

With a strong focus on patient care, you will prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout. Your attention to detail and ability to follow radiation safety protocols will minimize exposure to patients, staff, and yourself.


Key Responsibilities:
Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures, including angiography, biopsies, and catheter placements.
Operate and manage radiologic imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and image quality.
Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring safety and comfort throughout.
Follow radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure to patients, staff, and self.
Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities to the medical team.
Sterilize and prepare instruments, surgical trays, and materials for each procedure.
Maintain accurate patient records and document the procedures performed.
Ensure the interventional radiology room is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
Adhere to hospital policies, protocols, and industry best practices regarding patient safety and care.

Qualifications:
Associate degree or certification in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required.
Advanced certification in vascular interventional radiography (VI) or cardiovascular-interventional radiography (CV) preferred.
Maryland state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Prior experience in interventional radiology or a related field preferred.
Strong understanding of radiologic equipment and procedures.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
