This role requires strong technical skills, excellent organizational abilities, and effective communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- System Integration: Lead and support the integration of vehicle electrical systems, including communications and signaling, ensuring seamless integration and optimal output.
- Design Deliverables: Support the preparation of design deliverables, such as CDRLs or electrical system design packages, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Technical Meetings: Organize and lead technical meetings or workshops with customers, suppliers, and internal parties, preparing meeting minutes and distributing them to relevant parties.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare or review technical documents, drawings, specifications, and standards to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Problem-Solving: Actively participate in problem-solving and resolution processes related to mechanical system design and integration challenges.
- Interface Control Documents: Prepare and update Interface Control Documents (ICDs), System Integration Plans (SIPs), and related documentation to define and manage the functional interfaces between the new system and existing infrastructure.
- Staying Up-to-Date: Stay current with the latest electrical system designs as the project progresses.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate correspondence and technical meeting records.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical system design and/or integration, preferably in the rolling stock industry.
- Skills: Detail-oriented, excellent organizational skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, and a strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and engineering principles.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the US.
- Compensation: Salary: $100,000~ $130,000 annually, depending on experience.
