Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Production and Supply Chain Director to lead our activities for the Strategic Guidance Development Business Area. This role requires a seasoned professional with expertise in operations management, program management, and supply chain coordination.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing production efforts, developing strategic plans, and executing future programs. They will also possess excellent leadership skills, including the ability to motivate teams, drive results, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Manage production contracts, including those of subcontractors, to ensure timely delivery and high-quality products.
  • Coordinate activities across departments to resolve supply chain issues and maintain compliance with quality standards.
  • Monitor business plans for critical suppliers and develop action plans to ensure component availability.
  • Lead programs, projects, and Lean Six Sigma Continuous Improvement Teams to achieve KPIs, including cycle time reduction, cost savings, and quality improvement.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree or above in a relevant technical field or MBA.
  • 10+ years of functional or program management experience, including 5 years of personnel management experience.
  • Strong leadership skills, including vision development, communication, motivation, and results delivery.
  • Ability to contribute to strategic planning and define best business practices.
  • Highly developed communication skills, both written and oral.
Estimated Salary

$145,000 - $170,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
