Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Germantown, MD. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for partnering with business teams to consult and define business performance KPIs, analyzing KPIs and customer feedback to identify process improvement opportunities, and developing and publishing performance reports using data visualization tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business teams to consult and define business performance KPIs.
  • Analyze KPIs and customer feedback to identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and publish performance reports using data visualization tools.
  • Lead process improvement teams to define, measure, analyze, implement, and control new process changes to deliver sustainable improvements to the company and customers.
  • Develop and manage the comprehensive testing plan as the Quality Assurance requirements for the launch approval of new products and services.
  • Conduct internal audits of the Enterprise functional groups within the company to verify compliance of new products and services with the Hughes process standards.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related field plus 6 months' experience in Quality process/standards/model or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related field plus 5 years' experience in Quality process/standards/model.
  • Experience must include 6 months in each of the following: Oracle SQL Developer, Tableau, Python, MS Visio, MS Project, SAP, 6-Sigma, Machine Learning, and ISO 9001-2015.
