Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement HSE Plans: Create and implement comprehensive health, safety, and environmental plans for our projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct HSE Training and Coaching: Design and deliver training programs to educate employees on health, safety, and environmental best practices, and provide coaching and mentoring to ensure a culture of safety.
  • Lead HSE Inspections and Audits: Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and Maintain HSE Policies and Procedures: Create and maintain comprehensive HSE policies and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with project managers, supervisors, and employees to ensure effective communication and collaboration on HSE matters.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
  • Experience: 5 years of experience in a health and safety role in a related industry, with previous experience in a supervisory role an asset.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of applicable OH&S and environmental legislation, conflict resolution skills, and ability to problem-solve.
  • Language: Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
