Job Summary

The Production Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily activities of their area, including ownership of results, coaching employees, and meeting production goals. This role also involves handling production-related recordkeeping, such as printing labels, completing food safety checks, and ensuring paperwork is completed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the startup activities of the area, including safety, quality, and food safety inspections.
  • Demonstrate proactive planning for the line and area, including next-day planning, safety, sanitation, maintenance, and team needs.
  • Operate computer systems to track quality trends and production activity.
  • Conduct daily audits of cleaning, inspections, and 5S organization of the area.
  • Coordinate production activities and people to ensure quality and food safety standards are met.
  • Troubleshoot and perform basic machine issues, and call for help when necessary.
  • Assist with audit preparation as needed.
  • Perform various tasks, including loading and unloading cylinders, monitoring product volume, temperatures, times, and pressure readings, connecting pipes and hoses, adjusting valves, and operating pumps.
  • Monitor gauges and record information as needed.
  • Adhere to SOPs, including knowing product type and handling procedures.
  • Read and understand date codes.
  • Perform basic mathematical skills as needed.
  • Operate pallet jack and forklift.
  • Assist in loading and unloading trucks.
  • Demonstrate good judgment in safeguarding customer, company, vendor, and employee information.
  • Adhere to all General Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HAACCP policies.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area throughout the facility.
  • Maintain general housekeeping of production areas.
Requirements
  • Must be able to adapt to a changing work environment.
  • Must have good attendance.
  • Must be able to follow instructions and respond to management direction.
Schedule
  • 8-hour shift.
  • Monday to Friday.
Ability to Relocate
  • Plymouth, WI 53073: Relocate before starting work (Required).
Salary Description

$23-$25/hr
