Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to oversee the production process at Sartori Company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and be able to optimize production to meet targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee plant production to ensure productivity goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met.
  • Optimize production by minimizing downtime and reducing operational bottlenecks in collaboration with Sartori's Continuous Improvement, Engineering, & Maintenance teams.
  • Partner with Converting Supervisor's on areas of opportunity to improve production efficiency and uptime.
  • Identify and work collaboratively with Planning to address production schedule challenges.
  • Identify the best tools and technologies to help manage workflow and optimize their implementation and deployment.
  • Provide status reports to functional leaders and leadership.
  • Partner with the Product Development team for product development trials & new product development.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to implement workflow procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and Facilities Manager to plan preventive maintenance measures and emergency maintenance for the converting facility and equipment.
  • Lead cross-functionally activities to ensure finished goods meet first-pass quality standards.
  • Serve as the point of contact for Continuous Improvement, Engineering, Product Development, & Production scheduling for weekly production challenges and projects.
  • Immediately report any food safety or quality issues to management or other individuals authorized to initiate action.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or other related fields is required.
  • 5 years of managerial experience in manufacturing is required.
  • Professional certifications desired (e.g., Statistical Process Control, LEAN, IFMA).
