About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Support Specialist to join our team at Infrastructure Consulting & Engineering, LLC. As a key member of our Construction Engineering & Inspection (CEI) team, you will play a critical role in supporting our infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Administration: You will be responsible for performing basic contract administration functions, including analyzing contract quantities to prevent overruns and underruns.
  • Communication: Effective communication is essential in this role. You will need to communicate clearly and concisely with stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
  • Technical Skills: You will be required to become proficient in Trimble Business Center - Heavy Construction Edition (HCE) or approved surface to surface comparison software and Engineering Menu.
  • Survey Data Analysis: You will need to understand and analyze survey data from the field, prepare it for use in software, and generate accurate earthwork quantities.
  • Independent Judgment: You will be responsible for exercising independent judgment in planning work details and making technical decisions related to the office aspects of the project.
  • Project Support: You will work under the general supervision of the Project Administrator and will be responsible for performing work related to the project.
Requirements
  • Education: A High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
  • Experience: For personnel with engineering, engineering technology, and construction management degrees, no prior experience is required. For personnel without these degrees, four (4) years of CEI experience or two (2) years of experience with 3D Modeling and CADD are required.
  • Certifications: CTQP Final Estimates Level II is required.
Physical Demands

This position requires minimal lifting of up to 50 pounds sometimes on a frequent basis. You must be able to travel and tour work sites under adverse environmental conditions, including loud noise levels, high dust and dirt, and extreme temperatures.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week. Office hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with one unpaid hour for lunch each day. While overtime is not anticipated, occasional projects or deadlines may necessitate additional hours.
