Operating Room Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Operating Room Nurse to join our team at Hopedale Medical Complex. As a key member of our surgical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety during surgical procedures.
Responsibilities- Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their needs are met and their rights are respected.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs pre-operatively, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Prepare and maintain a sterile environment, ensuring the highest standards of infection control.
- Assist surgeons and other healthcare professionals during procedures, providing support and expertise as needed.
- Document all aspects of the surgical procedure, including patient information, surgical techniques, and outcomes.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest surgical techniques and best practices.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current RN licensure in the State of Illinois.
- Strong critical thinking skills and a positive attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
