Join Our Tax Team as a Tax Director

At Cherry Bekaert, we're seeking a highly skilled Tax Director to lead our tax services team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional tax guidance to our clients, driving business growth, and developing a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead tax engagements, develop engagement budgets, and coordinate resources to meet client objectives.
  • Provide guidance on tax planning, risk management, and compliance.
  • Develop and enhance a collaborative team environment, mentoring and guiding staff to achieve their full potential.
  • Stay up-to-date with tax laws, regulations, and industry developments, applying this knowledge to drive business growth and improve client services.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in public accounting, with a strong background in tax services.
  • Active CPA license, with a bachelor's degree in accounting and a master's degree preferred.
  • Excellent project management, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and develop a team.
  • Strong understanding of tax laws, regulations, and industry developments, with the ability to apply this knowledge to drive business growth and improve client services.
