EDUCATION:
- Must possess a minimum of an Associate's Degree in Radiology or be a graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.
Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography and maintain current valid registration from ARRT. Additionally, must fulfill the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice. BLS certification is required upon hire.
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Proficient in operating radiographic equipment and related ancillary devices.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Capable of providing accurate and concise documentation.
- Demonstrates knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, radiopharmacology, and medical terminology.
- Familiarity with computer applications, including information and billing systems, keyboard input, digital archiving, and data retrieval.
