Each project is seen as a chance to craft something exceptional that fosters community connections.
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical direction on assigned projects, ensuring alignment with program requirements and design integrity.
- Collaborate closely with project designers and managers to strategize and execute work processes efficiently.
- Establish and uphold internal controls for project teams, overseeing the development of contract documents.
- Champion the adoption of BIM and design technology standards, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Oversee coordination with sub-consultants, implementing quality assurance and control measures.
- Guide and mentor junior architects, providing insights and support in their professional development.
- Manage project planning and scheduling, stepping into a leadership role when necessary.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture along with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. A Registered Architect (RA) certification is required.
Key Skills:
- Proficient in Autodesk Revit and familiar with emerging design technologies.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and technical expertise.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present ideas clearly.
- In-depth knowledge of architectural products, systems, and building codes.
- Understanding of current accessibility and sustainability standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
Licensure as an Architect in California and experience in Transit design are highly regarded.
