Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical direction on assigned projects, ensuring alignment with program requirements and design integrity.
  • Collaborate closely with project designers and managers to strategize and execute work processes efficiently.
  • Establish and uphold internal controls for project teams, overseeing the development of contract documents.
  • Champion the adoption of BIM and design technology standards, ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Oversee coordination with sub-consultants, implementing quality assurance and control measures.
  • Guide and mentor junior architects, providing insights and support in their professional development.
  • Manage project planning and scheduling, stepping into a leadership role when necessary.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture along with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. A Registered Architect (RA) certification is required.

Key Skills:

  • Proficient in Autodesk Revit and familiar with emerging design technologies.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and technical expertise.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present ideas clearly.
  • In-depth knowledge of architectural products, systems, and building codes.
  • Understanding of current accessibility and sustainability standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

Licensure as an Architect in California and experience in Transit design are highly regarded.
