Job Summary

Corgan is seeking a highly skilled Architectural Project Manager to join our Education team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for leading and managing architectural projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, and exceeding client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Oversee the completion of projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Anticipate and manage client expectations, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, identifying and leveraging their strengths, and offering mentorship and training opportunities
  • Lead and facilitate open dialogue with project team members regarding design and technical ideation, ensuring effective solutions and project goals
  • Oversee the administration of construction phase procedures and documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Develop and present technical solutions to project stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
  • Drive the coordination of internal staff, external consultants, and other stakeholders to achieve a cohesive and collaborative project team
  • Attend and conduct presentations to clients, stakeholders, and project team members
Requirements
  • 12+ years of experience in commercial design, with at least 10 years in the K-14 Education market sector with DSA experience
  • Professional registration and a degree from an NAAB-accredited program or equivalent
  • High commitment to QA/QC, technical experience, and passion for project management
  • Thorough understanding of how a drawing set goes together, acumen for how things are built and constructability, and the ability to apply that knowledge to support the project design and budget
  • Experience managing a variety of consultants and contractors, interest in sustainable design, and effective organizational and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, flexible attitude, and proficiency or experience with managing overall project fees and schedules
