Position Summary:

As an Independent Optometrist leasing space inside Walmart stores, you will take a leading role in patient care with respect to eye and vision care as well as general health and well-being. You will have the autonomy to establish your days of practice, hours of operation, patient schedule, and fee schedule, while keeping 100% of exam/professional fees. You can also opt into equipment/instrumentation and administrative and/or Opt-Tech support services for a fair market value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality eye care services to patients
  • Establish and maintain a professional practice
  • Manage patient schedules and fees
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited optometry school
  • Valid state optometry license
  • Ophthalmologist (MD or DO) from an accredited school
  • Valid state ophthalmology license
  • General Liability Certificate
  • Professional Liability Insurance Certificate
