Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual to join our team as a Banquet Server at Hospitality Ventures. As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests in a timely and friendly manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize tables, action stations, buffets, and carts for service to ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests.
  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen to ensure that all meal requirements and special requests are met.
  • Ensure that courses are properly served and cleared in a timely fashion to maintain a high level of service quality.
  • Manage the presentation of tableware to ensure that it is accessible and appealing to our guests.
  • Monitor cleanliness and proper sanitation of tables, stations, and service areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.

Requirements

  • Basic reading and writing skills are required.
  • Food and Beverage experience is preferred.
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to frequently stand up and move about the work area.
  • Ability to frequently handle objects and equipment to maintain the facility.
  • Ability to frequently bend, stoop, and kneel.
  • Ability to work in areas of high temperatures around heavy equipment.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
  • One to three months of related experience and/or training is preferred.
