Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at RSG Forest Products. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including motor control circuits, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues using electrical schematics, equipment drawings, and manufacturer documentation.
  • Compliance: Ensure all electrical work is performed in accordance with the National Electric Code and company safety standards.
  • Communication: Collaborate with plant personnel to ensure effective communication and coordination of electrical maintenance activities.
  • Physical Demands: Perform tasks that require walking, standing, sitting, climbing stairs, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Requirements
  • Licensure: Oregon Limited Manufacturing Plant Journeyman Electrician license is required.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of industrial electrical experience with an emphasis on troubleshooting motor control circuits.
  • Skills: Solid background in 480 Volt three-phase, single-phase, and DC systems; working knowledge of Allen Bradley Motor Control Centers and PLCs; experience with Yaskawa VFDs.
