Job Summary

BHcare is seeking a skilled Employment Specialist to join our team. As an Employment Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with substance use and/or co-occurring disorders to achieve their employment goals. Your expertise will be essential in providing vocational counseling, career exploration, and job placement services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide vocational counseling and career exploration to individuals in recovery.
  • Develop job sites tailored to individual needs.
  • Offer on-the-job training and support services.
  • Conduct career planning classes and vocational groups as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and produce reports as assigned.
  • Meet or exceed established outcome measures.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in behavioral health.
  • RSS Certification or comparable Mental Health Certification required.
  • Ability to complete training as required for position and program assigned.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and electronic health records system (EHR).
