We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Officer to join our Blood Services Group, Blood Supply Management Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the national blood program, performing blood component processing, and managing blood inventory.
Key Responsibilities:- Blood Inventory Management: Ensure the timely supply of blood to stakeholders, perform test procedures according to laboratory standards, and maintain cold chain integrity.
- Blood Component Processing: Prepare blood and blood components according to established procedures, perform irradiation work, and operate analytical equipment.
- General and Administrative Work: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhere to biosafety practices, and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
- Relevant qualifications in Science or relevant fields
- Working experience in a biomedical or healthcare laboratory setting is an advantage
- Able to work night shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Confident and team player
- Able to work and communicate efficiently with stakeholders
The successful candidate will receive a competitive total package, including basic salary, shift allowances, shoe allowance, bonus payouts, and other staff benefits.
