As a key partner to the Store Manager, you will play a pivotal role in steering the team towards achieving or surpassing sales and profitability targets. Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the overall logistics processes within the store to align with company objectives and productivity benchmarks.
2. Leverage company resources and training tools to educate the team on logistics operations, visual standards, and stocking procedures.
3. Manage the publication calendar and delivery timelines to efficiently plan and execute logistics tasks; collaborate with the Operations Manager to schedule workloads effectively.
4. Organize and execute all signage and graphic displays in conjunction with the management team.
5. Ensure timely follow-up on truck receiving and data integrity matters; handle parts ordering and quality assurance issues.
6. Validate and oversee the execution of all omnichannel initiatives, including inbound and outbound freight activities.
7. Maintain stockroom standards and organization to support operational efficiency and safety.
8. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Store Manager in their absence.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong leadership capabilities, including exceptional customer service skills, a sense of urgency, meticulous attention to detail, creative problem-solving, and sound decision-making aligned with strategic goals.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant leadership experience in a dynamic retail environment is preferred.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly Pay Range: $21.28 - $25.28
- Paid sick leave (one hour for every 30 hours worked), up to 3 days of paid bereavement leave, and a holiday premium pay of $1 per hour.
- Eligibility to enroll in the company’s 401k plan with partial matching.
- Full-time associates receive 5 days of paid vacation, 8 paid holidays, 3 floating holidays, additional bereavement leave, and jury duty leave.
