We are seeking a skilled Painter - Decorative Finishes Specialist to join our team at Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for applying paint, stain, and other finishes to property walls, ceilings, and furniture using various techniques and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Apply paint, stain, and other finishes to property surfaces using brushes, spray guns, or rollers.
- Prepare new surfaces for finish coats by applying primers or sealers.
- Remove old finishes by stripping, sanding, wire brushing, burning, or using water and/or abrasive blasting.
- Cover surfaces with protective materials and post paint signs.
- Clean up and store paint and painting tools and equipment.
- Coordinate with vendors to modify paint colors.
- Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
- At least 1 year of related work experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
- No license or certification required.
