Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Painter - Decorative Finishes Specialist to join our team at Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for applying paint, stain, and other finishes to property walls, ceilings, and furniture using various techniques and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply paint, stain, and other finishes to property surfaces using brushes, spray guns, or rollers.
  • Prepare new surfaces for finish coats by applying primers or sealers.
  • Remove old finishes by stripping, sanding, wire brushing, burning, or using water and/or abrasive blasting.
  • Cover surfaces with protective materials and post paint signs.
  • Clean up and store paint and painting tools and equipment.
  • Coordinate with vendors to modify paint colors.
Requirements
  • Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • No supervisory experience required.
  • No license or certification required.
