Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team at Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leadership in our Medical Tele unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assume responsibility for direction and coordination of all functions during designated shifts.
  • Function as a resource person for staff members and assist in necessary education of individual members of the nursing staff.
  • Assume responsibility for the overall quality of nursing care provided when on duty.
  • Makes decisions regarding activities with these areas based on Administrative Operational Standards, Nursing Administrative Standards, Human Resource Standards, and Standards of Care for the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
Requirements
  • Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate Registered Nurse license.
  • BLS required. ACLS preferred. Certification preferred within 18 months in one of the following: ANCC Med-Surg (RN-BC), MSNCB Med-Surg (CMSRN), ANCC PCCN, or ANCC Cardiac-Vascular (RN-BC).
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred. Activity in professional organizations encouraged.
  • Two (2) years of clinical practice in the clinical specialty of his/her unit and leadership/management experience is preferred.
