As a key member of the Self-Storage Consulting Group LLC team, this individual will be responsible for overseeing the operations of multiple facilities, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, and contributing to the company's profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of 4-7 properties, ensuring seamless customer experiences and efficient facility management.
- Lead a team of 11-12 employees, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure their success.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor facility performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain mutually beneficial business relationships with customers, vendors, and partners.
- Manage facility budgets, analyze financial reports, and make data-driven decisions to optimize profitability.
- Recruit, interview, and hire top talent to join the team.
- Ensure compliance with state-specific lien processes and requirements.
- Conduct quarterly facility audits to ensure physical and operational standards are met.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and retention.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent of 3-5 years of work-related experience.
- Two years of management experience, with a proven track record of leadership and team development.
- Demonstrated ability to build, develop, and retain high-performing teams.
- Valid driver's license, automobile insurance, and dependable personal transportation.
- Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills.
Physical Demands:
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 35 lbs.
- Frequently required to stand, stoop, bend, and walk; frequent reaching, pulling, pushing, and repetitive motions.
- Work in all outdoor conditions.
- Travel up to 50-60% of the time.
