Director of Operations

Airside MRO Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Operations to lead our Part 145 Repair Station. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the station, ensuring adherence to FAA regulations and organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct all operational aspects of the Part 145 Repair Station
- Lead and develop the operations team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Work in tandem with Human Resources to manage staffing effectively
- Supervise Director-level positions, including Directors of Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Materials
Requirements:
- Deep knowledge of FAA regulations, especially CFRs relevant to Part 145 Repair Stations
- Demonstrated success in operations management and leadership
- Strong grasp of quality control principles in aviation maintenance
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in aviation management or military equivalent, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- Proven experience in aviation maintenance, particularly as an Accountable Manager in a Part 145 Repair Station
- A&P license preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand, lie, and kneel in awkward positions and spaces
- Must be able to lift and pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds at a time
- Must have visual acuity to inspect equipment and identify defects
