Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Protection Specialist to join our team at Dotty's. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our patrons and property.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Security and Protection: Ensure the safety and security of patrons and property by maintaining a visible presence and responding promptly to security calls.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Transact monetary exchanges in compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
  • Surveillance and Monitoring: Maintain surveillance of the casino floor and surrounding areas to prevent and detect potential security threats.
  • Incident Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on incidents that occur, including any injuries or damages.
  • First Aid and Emergency Response: Assist in responding to employee injuries and/or guest injuries or illness, and react promptly to disturbances at any location.
  • Intelligence Gathering and Analysis: Observe and react to individuals suspected of illegal activities, and assist with drop team members when needed.
  • Other Job-Related Duties: Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Prior Security/Military/Law Enforcement experience preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Age and Transportation: At least 21 years of age, and have reliable transportation.
  • Driver's License and Insurance: Valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to stand for long periods, and ability to bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Flexibility: Ability to be flexible with hours.
