About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Spa Nail Technician to join our team at Rancho Valencia Resort & Spa. As a key member of our spa team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional nail care services to our guests, ensuring a safe and professional experience in accordance with our protocols and California State Board requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Professional Nail Care Services: Perform nail care services on guests using safe and professional techniques, ensuring clients' comfort and discreet draping at all times.
  • Maintain High Standards of Sanitation and Sterilization: Uphold all standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by California State Board requirements.
  • Offer Exceptional Guest Service: Provide consistent professional nail treatments in accordance with Rancho Valencia protocols and Forbes 5-star standards.
  • Maintain a Clean and Organized Workspace: Sanitize and clean working area after every service, and prepare the room for next day or the next shift.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Knowledge: Maintain a thorough knowledge of all treatments on the spa menu, including indications, contraindications, and protocols.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate clearly with guests, staff, and vendors to their understanding.
Requirements
  • California State Board License
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Minimum 5 Years of Experience
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment
  • Availability to Work Holidays, Mornings, Evenings, and Weekends
Physical Demands
  • Frequent or Occasional Need to Perform Physical Activities: Reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting, lifting, and climbing.
  • Constant Need to Perform Physical Activities: Grasping, turning, finger dexterity.
  • Frequent Need to Stand for Long Periods of Time
  • Lifting/Carrying Up to 10 Lbs. Frequently and 25 Lbs. Occasionally
  • Vision Requirements: Constant need to view small print, frequent need to see small details and things clearly beyond arms' reach.
  • Hearing Requirements: Constant need to speak on telephone and/or two-way radio, respond to general public and converse with staff.
