Role Summary:

We are seeking a full-time Nurse Manager (RN or LPN) for our Battle Ground Medical Clinic. This position is integral to the daily operations of the clinic, working closely with the Health Center Administrator and Clinical Director. The Nurse Manager will oversee both clinical and administrative supervision of nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and assess a team of approximately 10-12 Medical Assistants (MA), including MA supervisors.
  • Collaborate with the Medical Director and Health Center Administrator to implement nursing policies and procedures that align with Sea Mar's standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct monthly audits and maintain knowledge of applicable State and Federal Regulations.
  • Drive clinic initiatives focused on quality measures, HEDIS, and Meaningful Use standards.
  • Facilitate annual training sessions for Medical Assistants on topics such as infection control and sterilization techniques.
  • Lead recruitment efforts for Medical Assistants and participate in the hiring process for additional support staff.
  • Manage and uphold a patient care system that includes nurse-only visits.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with an active RN or BSN license in Washington State. LPNs with equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • Completion of state-mandated HIV education is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire and maintained throughout employment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with effective listening and team-building abilities are essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and coaching skills.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, along with a self-motivated approach.
