Responsibilities
As a Nurse Practitioner in this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive patient assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and providing patient education and counseling. You will also have the opportunity to perform procedures as permitted by state regulations and your NP specialty, and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree focused on an NP specialty, such as family practice, adult-gerontology, or pediatrics. You will also need to have an active and unencumbered advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) license in Washington, and national certification as an NP in a relevant specialty area. Additionally, you will need to have at least one year of experience in a clinical setting relevant to your specialty.
