Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Job Summary

CHI St Alexius Health Bismarck Medical Center is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our team. As a CST, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare operating rooms and equipment for surgical procedures
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during procedures
  • Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and safe procedures
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and technologies
Requirements:
  • 3 years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
  • Proficiency in either Ortho/Neuro or General/Robotics surgical cases
  • Ability to work rotating 8hr shifts with varying times, including weeknights, weekends, and holidays
  • Willingness to work call, including 1-2 times per week and every 3-4 weekends
