Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at CHI St Alexius Health Bismarck Medical Center. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures
  • Prepare and maintain operating rooms, equipment, and supplies
  • Monitor and maintain aseptic conditions during procedures
  • Collaborate with anesthesia and nursing staff to ensure patient safety and comfort
  • Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient care
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist
  • Current certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or National Certified Surgical Technologist (NCCT)
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to maintain aseptic conditions and follow infection control protocols
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with orthopedic, neurosurgical, or general surgical procedures
  • Knowledge of robotic surgical systems
  • Ability to float to other departments as needed
