Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist/Occupational Therapist to join our team at BrightStar Care of W. Montgomery Co. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, providing personalized care and support to help them achieve their goals.

Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment
    • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical and occupational needs
    • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address these needs
  • Client Care
    • Provide high-quality care and support to clients in their homes
    • Work collaboratively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
  • Communication and Documentation
    • Maintain accurate and detailed records of client care and progress
    • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Professional Development
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in physical and occupational therapy
    • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Education and Certification
    • Master's or higher degree in physical therapy or occupational therapy from an accredited program
    • State licensure and certification in physical therapy or occupational therapy
  • Experience
    • Minimum 2 years of experience as a physical therapist or occupational therapist
    • Experience in home care or community-based settings preferred
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
