We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team at Mmliving. As an LVN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, social, and psychological well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Administer nursing care to residents within an assigned unit, maintaining accurate records of their condition, medications, and treatments.
- Assign duties to ancillary nursing staff based on resident needs, available staff, and unit requirements.
- Direct and supervise ancillary nursing staff in the delivery of care, ensuring adherence to state licensure regulations and company policies.
- Accompany physicians on rounds to answer questions, receive instructions, and note resident care requirements.
- Graduation from an accredited school of vocational nursing with a current license from the Texas State Board of Vocational Nurse Examiners.
- Previous experience as an L.V.N. is preferred.
- Maintain current, valid license from the Texas State Board of Vocational Nurse Examiners and current CPR Certification.
- Knowledge of general nursing theory and practice, preferably in the area of geriatrics, for a better understanding of resident care problems.
