Job Overview

Core Responsibilities:

  • Proposal Creation: Generate detailed proposals and pricing estimates that align with client needs and expectations.
  • Sales Support: Work in close collaboration with the Sales team to provide critical estimating assistance and insights.
  • Cost Analysis: Focus on producing accurate pricing for stamped components and assemblies, enhancing client satisfaction and the company's profitability.
  • Reporting Structure: Report directly to the Director of the Stamping Business Unit, providing regular updates and insights.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.
  • Education: A degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Industry Acumen: A foundational understanding of the metal stamping sector and familiarity with various raw materials, manufacturing techniques, and processes.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in stamping tools, stage tooling, and fixtures is crucial. Expertise in progressive stamping is highly regarded.
  • Software Skills: Familiarity with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, PRO-E, and Catia software is advantageous.
  • Analytical Proficiency: Strong analytical skills and a solid grasp of estimating principles are vital for success in this position.
