Overview:

A Facility Maintenance Attendant is essential in ensuring a pristine and inviting atmosphere at all Route 66 Casino Hotel locations.

Expectations:

  • Adhere to Route 66 Casino Hotel Core Values, Policies & Procedures
  • Exemplify professionalism both on and off the property
  • Maintain a courteous and respectful demeanor towards guests and team members
  • Arrive on time and ready for assigned tasks

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform cleaning duties including: vacuuming, mopping, restroom sanitation, waste disposal, and overall property upkeep
  • Ensure safety by following established protocols and reporting any potential hazards
  • Stay knowledgeable about cleaning agents and equipment upkeep
  • Encourage collaboration and foster a positive workplace culture
  • Build strong connections with guests through outstanding service
  • Participate in training sessions and assist with custodial operations
  • Be flexible with work hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous experience in cleaning or maintenance is advantageous

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to bend, lift, stand, and utilize hands frequently
  • Capacity to lift and move items weighing up to 25 lbs

Mental Demands:

  • Strong decision-making skills required
  • Effective problem-solving and communication abilities needed

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Work Environment:

  • Indoor setting with potential exposure to elevated noise levels and fumes

Other:

  • Gaming license through the appropriate regulatory body required
  • Successful completion of pre-employment alcohol/drug screening
