Role Summary:
As a Teamcenter PLM Administrator, you will be responsible for managing multiple instances of the Siemens Teamcenter application. Your role will involve:

  • Executing maintenance patches and upgrades to the core Siemens Teamcenter application.
  • Configuring integrations with third-party tools to enhance Teamcenter functionality.
  • Monitoring network performance and conducting analysis to ensure optimal operation.
  • Troubleshooting network issues and escalating problems to vendors when necessary.
  • Performing system monitoring to verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources.
  • Reviewing system and application logs to ensure the completion of scheduled jobs, including backups.
  • Analyzing resource consumption and managing user access effectively.
  • Installing and upgrading software while maintaining compliance with software licensing.
  • Assisting in network modeling and planning, ensuring coordination between hardware and software.
  • Supporting client-side application software installation and configuration of the Teamcenter PLM Rich Access Client (RAC).
  • Providing troubleshooting support through application and Windows logs.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong IT skills with experience in both Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Experience in Teamcenter systems administration, including software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • A customer-focused approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexibility to support weekend deployments and on-call assistance.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience in Teamcenter administration.

Additional Information:
This position is part of a dynamic team that values collaboration and innovation. You will be expected to contribute to team meetings focused on new requirements, troubleshooting, and server-side application support. Documentation of processes and procedures is also a key responsibility.
