Mortgage Loan Originator

FBC Mortgage, LLC is seeking a seasoned Mortgage Loan Originator to join our Charlotte, NC branch. As a Mortgage Loan Originator, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining a quality network of business relationships to generate new mortgage lending opportunities. You will also be responsible for interviewing customers to determine their financial needs and advising them on appropriate products, terms, and pricing. Additionally, you will navigate borrowers through the loan process, gather required information, and ensure accurate loan documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and develop business relationships with realtors, builders, and other professionals to generate new mortgage lending opportunities.
- Interview customers to determine their financial needs and advise them on appropriate products, terms, and pricing.
- Navigate borrowers through the loan process, gathering required information and ensuring accurate loan documentation.
- Meet sales goals and objectives while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of retail residential mortgage origination experience.
- Documented residential mortgage loans closed volume in the past 12 months of $750,000 - $1 million per month in production.
- Established relationships with local referral networks.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, across a variety of audiences.
- Proficient in product guidelines for Conventional, FHA, and VA loans.
- Strong PC skills and experience utilizing laptop technology.
- Must meet and comply with all requirements for Mortgage Loan Originators set forth in the SAFE Act, including successful completion of the required background checks and maintain active NMLS licensure.
