Responsibilities
  • Oversee the scheduling of subcontractors, consultants, inspectors, and vendors to ensure timely project completion.
  • Monitor work and materials to uphold quality control standards throughout various project phases.
  • Conduct construction inspections for multi-trade contracts to ensure compliance with contract specifications.
  • Assist the project manager in coordinating field activities between the facility and trades.
  • Support the project manager in managing Field Orders and Change Orders.
  • Coordinate third-party code inspections and documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with the project team and assist subcontractors in executing their responsibilities efficiently.
  • Perform inspections or schedule inspectors to adhere to safety and compliance regulations at job sites.
  • Maintain a detailed daily log of visitors, job actions, materials used, and issues resolved on-site.
  • Identify and address problems and conflicts, organizing meetings and collaborating with team members as necessary.
  • Ensure safety and security at project locations.
  • Guarantee compliance with industry standards of workmanship.


Qualifications
  • A minimum of six (6) years of experience in construction, focusing on large-scale building and rehabilitation projects.
  • At least four (4) years of experience as an Assistant Superintendent or Inspector on large multi-contract building projects.
  • Ability to develop and communicate a project work plan, monitor manpower and performance, and conduct detailed comparisons of design drawings for trade coordination.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach when working with clients and construction contractors/subcontractors.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities.
  • Familiarity with Submittal Exchange and Bluebeam is preferred.
  • Experience in Institutional Construction is preferred.

- Compensation: Minimum: $83,200 Maximum: $120,640. The range provided reflects the salary that the Firm believes, in good faith, it is willing to pay for the advertised position. Exact compensation will be determined based on individual qualifications and location.
