Key Responsibilities- Assist in the supervision and training of youth, promoting their social, emotional, and academic growth.
- Assess and monitor youth skills and progress, identifying areas for development and implementing individualized service plans.
- Utilize the Boys Town Model to teach and monitor behaviors and skills, ensuring a safe and secure living environment for our youth.
- Support and encourage academic performance and educational success, modeling positive relationships with youth and staff.
- Attend consultation meetings, staff meetings, and shift transition meetings, staying informed and engaged in our youth's progress.
- Process documents for youth intake and departure, updating files and preparing youth summaries and reports.
- Participate in mediation and planning conferences with youth and their families, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
- Attend to youth medical and physical conditions as needed, ensuring their overall well-being.
- Transport youth to and from school, appointments, and outings, utilizing Boys Town vehicles.
- Monitor environment and ensure safe and secure conditions for youth, adhering to policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 21 years of age required.
- Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record and pass an annual Motor Vehicle Registration (MVR) check.
