Job Title: SharePoint Administrator
Job Type: Full-Time, W2
Compensation: $75/hr
Shift: Standard EST core hours
Location: Onsite at Fort Belvoir, VA
Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Microsoft SharePoint 2019 administrator support for a large customer within the DoD community.
- Assist with SharePoint farm upgrades and deployments.
- Experience and knowledge with SharePoint Online administration.
- Experience administering Windows Servers, Active Directory, and DNS.
- Configure and maintain SharePoint Enterprise search, index configurations, and scheduling.
- Support Microsoft SQL Server in a SharePoint environment.
- Provide critical problem-solving and advanced troubleshooting.
- Plan and install service packs, hotfixes, updates, and patches during off-peak time.
- Perform data retrieval and backup procedures to prevent data loss.
- Ensure sufficient storage space by performing clean-ups and archiving data.
- Review usage and activity reports and adjust to ensure optimized user experiences.
- Experience with Information Assurance practices and principles.
- Provide security operations or coordinates security operations functions in support of cybersecurity accreditation-risk management framework (RMF) continuous monitoring process.
- Participate in the design and implementation of methods, procedures, and systems to improve the processing and flow of information within the organization.
- Develop workflows, automations, and other powerapps to improve pilot/project delivery and artifact management.
- Enable knowledge flow to enhance shared understanding, learning, and decision-making for programs critical to effective mission command (MC).
- May serve as a technical consultant to a project or several projects dealing with the area of technical expertise.
- Coordinates with contract management and Government personnel to ensure problems have been properly defined and solutions satisfy customer needs.
- Analyzes user needs to determine functional requirements for a wide variety of projects; consults with clients to determine optimum design for assigned projects.
- Performs functional modeling based on requirements analysis.
- Generates recommendations in the form of technical briefings, reports, and other major documents provided to senior-level client personnel.
- Identifies emerging relevant technologies that may result in improvements to current processes and systems.
- Writes and updates project documentation, including system procedures, presentations, and training materials.
- May serve as technical team or task lead.
Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma/GED with 12 years of related experience, or Associate's Degree with 10 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of experience.
- Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge/experience of Army command structures and the ability to integrate knowledge into SharePoint infrastructure for leadership and user consumption.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills along with strong customer service.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize commitments, and manage time effectively, including attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications like Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint.
- Clearance Level: TS/SCI.
- Required Certification(s): DoD M IAT Level II/8140 Computing Environment (CE) Certification as determined by the Program Manager is required prior to support on contract.
- IAT II 8570/8140 Baseline Certification Security+ or equivalent.
- Required Computing Environment Certification: MCSA Windows Server 2012, Solaris 10, Linux+, VCP5, Azure Administrator Fundamentals, or equivalent.
- Location: On Customer Site.
- Additional:
- Candidates must be willing and able to attain a CI Polygraph for certain positions as determined by the contract.
- Position may require lifting of objects (i.e., IT Hardware), reaching/bending/kneeling (i.e., plug in cables), and other moderately strenuous activity.
- Travel may be required to support the mission.
