Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Gastroenterology LPN to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a Gastroenterology LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our clinicians in providing exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Tasks: Prepare patients for office visits, perform focused nursing assessments, and provide health education on routine medical conditions.
  • Clinical Procedures: Assist with diagnostic tests, therapies, and procedures, including vital signs, medication administration, and wound care.
  • Practice Management Activities: Maintain patient schedules, respond to messages, and facilitate follow-up duties on patient plans of care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Practical Nurse License (Washington) within 6 months of hire
  • Basic Life Support certification
  • Demonstrated clinical nursing skills, interpersonal and customer service skills, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two (2+) years of nursing experience in an ambulatory care setting
  • IV therapy experience or recent certification
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
