Job Responsibilities and QualificationsThe Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care within the unit during their designated shift. Collaborating with the management team, the CNC oversees nursing care in alignment with established protocols, serves as a resource for staff, and exemplifies the organization's mission and values to enhance patient experiences and clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitates efficient admission and discharge processes to promote high-quality care.
- Engages in ongoing evaluations of patient care quality in partnership with management.
- Fosters teamwork among staff and collaborates with experts to enhance service delivery.
- Embraces a patient-first approach and participates in service recovery initiatives.
- Contributes to staff engagement through nursing strategies and initiatives.
- Participates in the recruitment, training, and development of new team members.
- Manages staff scheduling and labor resources in accordance with patient needs.
- Assists in maintaining inventory and managing supplies and equipment.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment.
- PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification required within 90 days of employment.
- Current Registered Nurse license.
- Educational qualifications include a diploma, associate degree, or bachelor's degree in nursing.
