Overview:
Are you dedicated to delivering empathetic support to individuals in need? Hospice of the West is currently in search of Full-Time Compassionate Hospice Aides (CNAs) to become integral members of our devoted team, providing care to patients in the surrounding areas.

Work Schedule:
Thursday-Monday 8-5 pm


As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with Hospice of the West, you will be essential in enhancing the lives of our patients, working under the supervision of a registered nurse to deliver vital services that ensure their comfort and well-being. Your attentive and nurturing disposition will be crucial in upholding the quality, continuity, and safety of our patients' care.

Responsibilities:

Deliver Personalized Care:
Adhere to the meticulously developed care plan to guarantee the comfort and well-being of our patients. Respond promptly to the requests of patients and their families/caregivers, offering compassionate and unwavering support.

Assist with Personal Care:
Aid patients with various personal care needs, including bathing, oral hygiene, changing bedding, clothing, and shampooing. Your presence during these intimate moments significantly contributes to their overall comfort and dignity.

Commit to Customer Service:
Prioritize exceptional customer service, striving to exceed expectations to ensure optimal patient satisfaction. Your dedication to providing outstanding care will be recognized and appreciated as part of our team.

Support Families:

Impact the families of patients by sharing your knowledge and expertise, guiding and assisting them in caring for their terminally ill loved ones. Your presence offers confidence and reassurance during this challenging time.


Maintain Accurate Documentation:

Every detail is vital in delivering high-quality care, both in the patient's home and within our agency and regulatory standards. Your attention to detail is essential to our success.



Qualifications:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.

Holds current unencumbered certificate in the state working as a C.N.A.

Minimum one (1) year experience as a C.N.A. in an acute care or long-term care setting. Hospice experience is a plus.

Possess and maintain current CPR certification if state-mandated.
