Job Title: Hardware Engineer Program Manager II

Microsoft is seeking a highly skilled Hardware Engineer Program Manager II to join our team in Silicon, Cloud Hardware, and Infrastructure Engineering (SCHIE). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving technical hardware programs from requirements through launch, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining uncompromising quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead virtual teams of functional leads to document clear plans of record for new product development and manage projects through milestones to completion on schedule and in budget.
  • Establish accurate and effective project infrastructure, leveraging experience and engineering skills to solve problems and achieve objectives through cross-functional teams.
  • Communicate and present program plans and status with management, embodying our culture and values.
  • Timely report meaningful status and supporting detail to senior leadership and other internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of experience in hardware engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development, or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ year of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years of experience in hardware engineering, product/technical program management, or product development, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • Knowledge of high-volume server design and manufacturing, datacenters, and operations at scale.
What We Offer:

Microsoft offers a competitive salary range of $94,300 - $182,600 per year, with a different range applicable to specific work locations.
