Position Overview:

The University of Toledo Physicians MDVIP Group is in search of a full-time physician to become part of their clinic. Candidates must possess board certification in Internal Medicine and hold an active medical license from the Ohio Board of Medicine. MDVIP is committed to delivering personalized preventative healthcare to patients in the NW Ohio and SE Michigan regions.

At MDVIP, patient-centered care is paramount, ensuring that each patient receives thorough evaluations and tailored wellness plans developed by our experienced medical staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Membership-based practice limited to a maximum of 600 patients
  • Conduct 8-10 patient consultations daily
  • Provide focused appointments that respect time and allow for in-depth patient interaction
  • Emphasize preventative healthcare strategies
  • Implement a comprehensive annual wellness program and guide patients on lifestyle changes
  • Stay informed on medical advancements and dedicate time to research complex cases
  • Allocate time for personal wellness and professional development
Qualifications:

Education: MD or equivalent required

Licensure: Board Certified or Board eligible by the American Board of Internal Medicine; current licensure in Ohio required prior to commencing the role

Skills: Proven experience in collaborating with specialists to assess patient health conditions and diagnose issues. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities are essential.

Preferred Experience:

3+ years in primary care is preferred.
