About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Velocity Solutions. As a Welder, you will be responsible for welding assemblies according to drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welding of welded assemblies according to drawings and specifications
  • MAG welding of welded assemblies
  • Assembly and construction of simple welded assemblies
  • Preparation of welding seams (creating welding bevels; using welding edge former, angle grinder or plasma torch)
  • Finishing/cleaning of welding seams
  • Performing autogenous cutting work
  • Operating the crane; attaching, securing and transporting while adhering to relevant safety regulations
  • Ensuring compliance with UVV and operating instructions
Requirements
  • Completed 3 1/2-year vocational training in a relevant field
  • Several years of professional experience
  • Experience with MAG welding process
  • Knowledge of TIG and UP welding desirable
  • Possession of valid welding certificates
  • Independent and results-oriented work style as well as teamwork and willingness to learn
