Job Summary

Elwood Staffing is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at CS Wind, a leading provider of sustainable energy solutions. As a Welder, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform welding tasks using various techniques, including gas metal arc welding (GMAC), flux core arc welding (FCAW), shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), submerged arc welding (SAW), and flame/plasma gouging.
  • Setup and operate manual welding, automated welding, and flame/plasma cutting equipment, ensuring proper parameters and adjustments.
  • Prepare welding joints and repair surface/weld imperfections using flame/plasma cutting equipment and grinding.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment by following all safety protocols and performing routine housekeeping and workplace organization.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of welding experience in a heavy fabrication industry or a combination of welding courses and welding work experience through an accredited technical school or apprentice program.
  • Ability to read and interpret production drawings and technical work instructions.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check and pre-employment drug screen (excluding THC).
