Job Summary: As a Military Police Specialist in the U.S. Army, you will be responsible for enforcing laws and regulations on Army installations, controlling traffic, preventing crime, and responding to emergencies. You will also conduct investigations, interview witnesses and suspects, and process crime scenes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enforce military laws and regulations on Army installations
- Control traffic and prevent crime
- Conduct investigations and interview witnesses and suspects
- Process crime scenes and arrest and charge criminal suspects
Requirements:
- Complete the ASVAB test to identify your strengths and potential Army career opportunities
Training: Job training for Military Police Specialists requires 20 weeks of One Station Unit Training and on-the-job instruction in police methods. You will learn basic warrior skills, military and civil laws, investigating and collecting evidence, traffic and crowd control, and arrest and restraint of suspects.
