Role Responsibilities

As a Nurse Practitioner at AndHealth, you will be integral to our patient care team. Your responsibilities will encompass:
  • Developing tailored treatment strategies for patients and actively engaging in the execution of their care plans.
  • Implementing and supporting a comprehensive clinical treatment protocol established by the AndHealth team.
  • Evaluating cases managed by health coaches and providing constructive feedback on their treatment plans.
  • Assessing patients' medication readiness and managing prescriptions as appropriate.
  • Ordering and interpreting necessary laboratory tests.
  • Monitoring patient progress and collaborating with coaches to coordinate care, while also participating in clinical rounds and serving as a clinical resource for coaches and other team members.
  • Working in partnership with both internal and external providers to ensure patients have the necessary resources to reverse their chronic conditions.

Qualifications

  • A degree as a Nurse Practitioner is mandatory.
  • Preferred specialization in Neurology, Dermatology, Rheumatology, or Endocrinology.

Skills and Attributes

  • Experience as a Nurse Practitioner in family medicine, neurology, dermatology, rheumatology, internal medicine, or primary care.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with comfort in managing patient relationships through telehealth platforms.
  • Proficient in documentation and familiar with electronic health records (EHR), with a commitment to providing detailed information to demonstrate clinical outcomes.
  • Enthusiasm for creating innovative care models that diverge from traditional healthcare practices, while contributing to the evidence base for our care model.
  • Possession of active, unrestricted licenses, with a willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed.
  • A track record of achieving positive patient outcomes through diverse treatment approaches.
  • A belief in the potential to reverse chronic diseases through a root cause methodology, and a passion for assisting patients in addressing their underlying health issues.
  • A keen interest in technology and innovation, thriving in a forward-thinking care model.
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional patient experiences.
  • A desire to make a significant impact on patients and provider partners, fostering trust and collaboration in healthcare delivery.

Additional Requirements

  • Proof of a negative TB skin test within the last year.
  • Documentation of immunity to Measles, Mumps, and Rubella.
  • Evidence of Varicella vaccination or immunity.
  • Completion of the Hepatitis B vaccination series.
  • Influenza vaccination is required.
  • COVID-19 vaccination is required.
