About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at DaVita Inc. as a Dialysis Nurse. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment, including assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and monitoring patient progress.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and technicians, to ensure seamless and effective patient care.
  • Conduct patient observations, measure vital signs, and set up dialysis equipment as needed.
  • Oversee a group of patients with the support of Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) to ensure timely and effective care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree.
  • Experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Critical Care Unit (CCU), Emergency Room (ER), or Medical Surgical (Med Surg) may be beneficial.
  • Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certification may be advantageous.
